After a recommendation by another surgeon, I recently had my gall bladder removed successfully by Thomas Satyadas at the Alexandra Hospital Cheadle. He is a kind and caring person who makes you feel at ease from the very first time you meet him. From the start he drew diagrams and fully explained the procedure and made things very clear. He gave both my wife and I his full attention and unlimited time before, during, and after surgery.......nothing was too much trouble. I have been so lucky to have Mr.Thomas Satyadas, this kind and sincere person as my consultant surgeon. From initial consultation through to my final appointment he made us feel as though he has been a close friend for many years.....and you really do not want to say goodbye. I can highly recommend Thomas Satyadas with confidence, as a professional surgeon with extensive knowledge, experience and expertise in performing what turned out to be in my case a complex surgical operation.......you will not find a better dedicated consultant/ surgeon.

Mr Satyadas was recommended to me by a colleague as I was suffering from what I thought was Gall Stones. I had the scan at the Manchester Royal Infirmary and he reviewed this and confirmed that I needed my Gall Bladder removing as soon as possible. He explained the procedure to me and the potential complications in easy to understand language and what could be expected afterwards. I had not had surgery since having my tonsils out many years ago and whilst I was nervous, he relaxed me and made me feel confident in him and the procedure. I had the procedure at the Manchester Royal, and I know it was a difficult procedure due to part of the gall bladder having died and was causing problems in other areas of the abdomen, but the procedure was successfully completed by key hole. I had to stay in over night and all the staff from theatre, anaesthetics and ward staff were amazing. The aftercare has been excellent as well. Mr Satyadas was attentive and communicated excellently. I can highly recommend Mr Satyadas as a surgeon and he has the best interests of the patient at heart. I hope I dont but if I do need further surgery, he will be the first surgeon that I will see. He is a credit to the NHS and his profession.

My father recently went through major surgery to remove a cancerous part of his liver as well as having a major hernia repaired. The size of the surgery was quite a large one and myself and my family were quite worried due to the procedure which he was going to be going through. Mr Satyadas was fantastic throughout the whole of the time leading up to the operation as well as the follow up phone calls with myself and my father to see how he was getting on. I couldn't be more thankful to Mr Satyadas and would want anyone to know who is in his care, they are in fantastic hands.
